There are some things I would like to request for the Wordfilter module in order of importance:

1. Make it so the words in the bwact.txt file are automatically blocked.
2A. Make it so that people can add a list of comma separated list of words and phrases.
2B. Make it so that people can upload a text file of a list of comma separated list of words and phrases.
3. Add a statistics page.
4. Add an option for sub-categories of variations of the main word.

A word of advice, don't set an issue as critical unless it's a critical bug, i.e. the module doesn't work at all due to the issue.

As for your feature requests:

1) If you have a file of words to be blocked, you'll have to add them to your specific site setup yourself, it's not the role of this module to add a predefined list of words to filter
2A & 2B) These are reasonable requests but neither of them can be implemented by me anytime soon. You are welcome to submit patches or to hire a developer to implement this feature yourself and if you desire to submit the feature back to the project as a patch
3) Not sure what statistics you are looking for here. Needs more information
4) Not sure what you mean by sub-categories of the main word to filter. Needs more information.
