Description

As this project hasn't been updated in quite a while, I'm willing to take over maintainership.

I've created a patch (#599944: Ready for an official release?) that I think will help prepare this module for an official release, and I have some other ideas I'd like to see implemented that I'm willing to work on.

Thanks!

I actually don't see why this module is needed. The Menu block module allows you to create custom menu blocks and you can even customize at which level the menu blocks start at, so in this case the 'Create content' level in Navigation, and limit the depth to 1 level (or unlimited). Viola! My own create content block using a much more re-usable and maintained module.

So if it were ok with Eaton, I'd like to point people to Menu block and abandon this module instead.

Ignore #1. I failed to see that you can control which content types to put in the block. My bad!

But maybe a link showing that Menu block can do the same thing as well on the project page isn't a bad idea.
