Hi there,

It might be just a simple question to you, but it holds me back for going online with my page :(!
When user does register, I want them to select or to name the users language, what appears on the users profile. I further want them to input or to select their country in the registration section. I tried to do that, but till now, I couldn't find any option, to modify users registration.

As well, when I activate the search option in the garland theme, it appears on the left row. I tried to move it to the header by modifying the blog option, but it doesn't work.
Please can someone give me a quick hand on it?

To add additional fields, go to

Administer > User > Profiles

The fields should be there. I'm not sure if it requires a module. If you don't see those options, let me know, I'll do a quick search or you can search Drupal for profiles.

Pretty easy stuff. If you're in need of help for applying a module, just ask. Drupal is a friendly community.

You have two options. For very basic user fields you can use the core profile module. For more advanced, social networking type profiles you'll want to use the content_profile module which makes user profiles into first class drupal nodes. Both can integrate with the registration form.

Great! Thank you for your responses! Tomorrow, when I'll back in town I'll definitively try those options out! I'll update you about the result! Thank you again very much for your help!
Have a great day!
