Ubercart: Customization - Module for Image Integration/Upload at the product page, add to cart form

Hello,

we are in search for the following functionality:

Customer should be able to upload an image or choose an image from previous uploaded images to an order, before adding the product in the cart. This is for costum prints on various products.

Maybe like the nodereference module + nodeference image helper. There you can upload an image to an node or choose via browser from existing images - but this is for nodes only. We need this at the order form.

We think an ubercart module is the right way to go. We want to contribute this back, of course.

We have no budget idea for now, as we don't now how much effort is needed.

at the moment there is no solution.

I get an pointer, to try UC Node Checkout again. I did this, but can't get an image preview (from uploaded image) in the card form. Maybe this is no problem for an expert.

Please let me know, if you find an working solution.

I need the same functionality for a website i'm making. I'm new to the whole drupal/ubercart thing, so if you could give me some good leads on finding how to create this, I would be grateful.
