I might be missing something obvious here, but I tried to get Image Assist and CKeditor to work but they do not. Also, I cannot seem to get the button to appear in the editor. I was curious if I was missing something or if this is still an outstanding development todo.

twodThis is because Image Assist is currently hardcoded to work with TinyMCE.
I've been working on a patch for Image Assist to make it easier for other modules to interact with it, and a patch for Wyswyg module to use that 'API', but I still have a few quirks to work out. Other things have also had to take priority. There's an issue related to this somewhere in the Wysiwyg or Image Assist queue, you can follow up on it there. This will probably be fixed for Wysiwyg 7.x-3.x-dev and the corresponding IA version first and then backported.

1websitedesigner commentedBe great if this gets resolved.
You might want to try the IMCE module for inserting images, this is compatible with CK Editor.
Alternatively, FCK Editor and Image Assist are compatible.

Brn commentedTo use FCKeditor isn't a good idea : this editor isn't compatible with Firefox anymore.
