Hi there,

after succesfully installing the module and creating a gallery, I tried to add a new item. This is the error I got

An HTTP error 0 occurred.
/?q=gallery_assist_upload/js

after searching the internet, I found an update at http://github.com/jcmc, installed but with no effect.
I'm not quite sure what I'm doing wrong. Any Tips.

Hello brauhaus,

I am secure you don't make waht wrong.
maybe is only caused from the server configuration.

Please check the permissions from webserver-user eg. by apache in linux is www-data.
Check the permissions of the galleries created folders.

In the next Version I include the change of uploaded files.
In some environments, the rights of uploaded files are not set correctly.

for the first I inform you, I wait your fedback

I think it indeed was the setings of the server, I' ve changed the permissions and the error is gone. tnx for the tip,
but now I only get broken links in ie and just the text tag in firefox. I looking in to it right now and will post my findings here.

In'm pleased that it works and that you are satisfied.

Please look in this days for the update.
There are a few changes because of security.

I send the fixes to the drupal security team and the joungs make a review before publishing the new release.

It is only Important for Multiuser sites.

individual operators (I mean) when the site belong only one Person and this one ist the sole administrator

First, thanks for this great module!!!!
I got the same error but only with Google Chrome, with other browser works perfectly!!

P.S. images are saved despite the error

jcmc: I'm having this very same problem. I thought it was probably a permissions problem, but the folder that the pictures are supposed to upload to are set to 775. Any ideas?

Drupal 6.16, the latest version of Gallery Assist, I'm on a hosted system running Apache 2.2.14, PHP 5.2.11, MySQL 5.1.45-log.

Okay, I think the issue for me is that the pictures were too big. Some of them were 2.5 MB in size, and their display size probably would have broken my page layout. I just loaded one up in Photoshop and resized it to about 20 percent, and it uploaded and is displaying fine.
