The Search Feature (option to search throug loggin users content only)

Issue Summary

I'm trying to see if the core search module has the flexiblilty to search through the logged in user's content only. I don't want them to be able to search through all content just their own. Do I control this setting up a custom view?

Here is my workflow: 1) user logins in 2) user create content 3) content is stored in user's directory 4) user does search for content based on what's in **their directory only 5) content is displayed in search form

I'm stuck on processes 4 and 5.
