I'm submitting my French translation for the module. It may not be totally accurate but it is at least a beginning. I'm french canadian, so it may not be totally internationally acceptable. Every entries have been translated. If somebody could explain me how to use the portable object to get the module translated I'd be thankful.

Jorrit commentedFor which version is this translation? I think translating version 2.0-rc2 is the best way to go right now, as that will be the next version and the translation strings are final. The translation strings have been revised since version 1 of the module, so the translations are not portable.
I personally use potx (http://drupal.org/project/potx) to generate an empty .po file, and then I use Poedit to translate the po file. You can use the fckeditor.pot file in the translations folder of the 6.x-2.0-rc2 release to start your translation.

werfu commentedHere, I've check which version I've used to translate it. I guest there won't be much to move it to 2.0-rc2. I'll be doing it soon.
What I was asking is how to use this translation. I've put it into the translation directory under the fckeditor module root but Drupal don't load use it and the text is still displayed in english. Is there anything special or a config file to update?
Jorrit commentedI see what you mean. The files in the translation folder are only loaded when installing the module from scratch. After that, you should use the Import page (at admin/build/translate/import)

anrikun commentedThanks for your translation werfu but there are lots of spelling mistakes.
I'm OK to correct them once you've uploaded your last version.
werfu commentedSorry for the spelling mistake, I've never been good at it. I'll be doing the translation next week.
