I rolled a new release for ET translation(http://drupal.org/node/618276) this morning and ended up with the following packaging errors:
ERROR: /usr/bin/cvs -q export -r DRUPAL-6--1-2 contributions/translations/et failed with status 1
cvs [export aborted]: connect to cvs.drupal.org(140.211.166.46):2401 failed: Connection refused

We've got a cvs maintenance window now. Anyone doing official releases will be affected. Maybe we can turn off the packaging script while this happens?

we always forget something...
I suggest you delete the release node and create a new one.
