Issue Summary
This is a bit of a shot in the dark. I have users reporting intermittent problems with my "site not updating"... meaning that they see old pages. Some report seeing this more in Firefox than IE... others vice versa. I absolutely never see it myself (which makes the whole thing very hard to troubleshoot).
Anyway, haven't been able to find any pattern to it but it occurred to me this AM that maybe something is going on w/persist login, but I have very little understanding (OK, no understanding) of how the whole cookies and browsers thing works.
Is it possible that I have something conf'g wrong somewhere that would result in the persist login cookies interfering with pages updating under some circumstances? Anything I could look at for clues?

Which kind of caching methods are you using?

Well, we are hosted at HotDrupal and I'm not entirely sure what might be going on server wise, but we had the problem before we moved there, so I believe it to have to do with my site in some way. As for caching there, block caching is disabled, and the main caching is set to normal.
I have both css and javascript optimized, but not all the time... depending on what I'm working on.

Apologies for the delay in providing feeback.
hmm... I think it's hard to tell. I cannot see how PL cookies could affect Drupal caching, and/or how it could be related to your content not being updated. I think it could be related to some other module or something else particular to your installation, but this needs in-site debugging.

Thanks. Yeah, I'm just guessing at this point. Unfortunately user complaints about it are few and intermittent and they do not collect very good info for me to troubleshoot with.
If I get more useful info, I'll reopen
