I don't know, but I guess, for now, it should be. Can we merge HEAD and 7--1? or should we stick to 7--1? I'll be submitting patches these days and would like to know the branch to be used.

I'm unsure what the status of HEAD is right now, but we should continue using the 7-1 branch since its there unless someone else wants to weigh in on this.
