Issue Summary
My node's titles are hidden and generated to be the user's twitter username once they sign into twitter via oauth. The actual nodes are just some text cck fields.
I see that the pathauto documentation recommends not using www.sitename.com/title since it would allow too much control. I would really like to have root level urls. Since my actual content and titles aren't directly editable do you think there will still be risks for using a path like www.sitename.com/title

The concern is that it will override an existing alias like /user or /admin.
