How can I set up so the Brilliant Gallery module only displays a few of the images if it is in the teaser?

Add a text field in the content type, have it show only in teaser, and then put your [bg|...] tag in it!

Lets say that you have 50 pics in the album folder.
This is the only gallery for the page.
On the left I have a block containing the Brilliant module.
How can I configure it to show a maximum og 6 random pics and if you click on it show all the 50 pics?
A 6 pics teaser in other words.

The block on my left site is containing far to many pics.

Another issue is that IE8 and explorer dosnt seem to understand the limit of the block containing the gallery.
The block is far to little to contain the pics.

I have the same problem.
In my homepage I´ve 10 nodes promoted (teasers), which show the full galleries. There is no way to specify a number of picts in the teaser? I think a big mistake.
I need to do something to not load 500 picts in my homepage.... Im using Drupal 7.22 and Brilliant Gallery 7.x - 1.6
