I have Drupal 6.14 running on WAMPServer.

I've had a few Drupal installations in the past and I could have sworn that it was possible to send email (for example to users trying to register an account) without messing with php.ini or anything like that.

Being that the other Drupal installations I've had were on shared hosting accounts - where there is no access to php.ini, for sure something else was enabling outgong email to work.

Can you help?
