Permissions don't work for other users but admin

Description

My problem is that my site is a community website, so other users will make use of fotonotes; but unfortunately it looks like permissions don't work for other users but uid 1 (user 1 or admin).

So enabling edit own fotonotes, doesn't do anything. Not only that, I tried enabling all the access permission option for authenticated users and no results either.

It seems this module only works for admins, making it completely obsolete for other users working this way.

I even searched for a line in the code where it keeps other users from using fotonotes, with no luck either. It seems we are dealing with a serious bug, or simply an oversight of the programmer of this module.

Anyone can help me with this issue please?
