can FCKeditor read (and link to) my URL aliases?

moopy - November 2, 2009 - 05:21

Hi,
I appologise in advance if this is listed anywhere, but i've spent the last 3 hours reading forums and trying to google for my answer.
I'm using fckeditor and when i click on insert link i want to be able to select the links that are in my URL aliases.
I can't seem to work out how to go about doing this.

So i want to be able to do the following....
click Insert Link from toolbar > under Link Type select Pages > then be able to select one of my pages from the list.

List of modules:
Administration Menu | FCKeditor | IMCE | Pathautho | Token | Token Actions | TokenSTARTER | Webform

Perhaps i should be using the CATEGORY module, but I really don't know. I haven't done anything in taxonomies yet, and again I don't know if I should be using taxonomy for this.
Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks

You don't say which module for fckeditor you're using, but the fckeditor module includes a plugin for referencing content-- see the README.txt file for more info.

Thanks for your reply World.

I'm using version drupal module 1.4 with 2.6.5 from fckeditor.net. Do you mean the readme from the drupal module or the readme from the fckeditor java download?

It's the readme.txt from the drupal module-- if it's not mentioned in v1.4, try checking v2. I'm not sure in which version it first appeared.

I'll have another read through it. I've read it a few times now. I think i'm just too daft to understand! :(
Cheers World.
