Issue Summary
About alfresco I am a rookie. With some demo data and the most simple setup, I get that error:
Error received from endpoint: -1002
Any idea how to solve it?
The installation is ubuntu 9.04 with alfresco from the community repositories.
localhost:8080
And Drupal 6 on a localhost.
localhost:80
I can contact to Alfresco an open space and import items, but if I try to call
CMIS repository it throws that error.
Any help?

I had the same error. You need to enter the password. Go to Administer -> Site configuration -> CMIS Settings -> Alfresco settings. Enter the proper username and password, and then this error goes away. Or did for me anyway.

Please let me know if this worked on cmis-6.x-3.0-rc1
If not please open a new issue under http://drupal.org/project/cmis since cmis_alfresco module is deprecated
