I'm going to be adding integration with Author Pane ( See #621198: Add Ignore User support ) and it would be handy for my users if they could turn off the node/comment link in the UI rather than having to do a link alter.

I forgot about this issue... I ended up not doing the integration but I still think it's a useful feature. :)

If you want to tag it for Drupal 7, why not just set the version to D7?

When I was tagging, d.o. hadn't yet made the d7 version available yet in the version drop-down after creating a new release node...it's there now though, thanks.

Ah, I see. Glad to see this getting some love. I had to abandon it on D6 because it's not compatible with Node Comments. I'd planned on revisiting it in D7.
