In my installation D6.16 + i18n-6.x-1.1 when I create the second URL alias, the site goes off-line and then show a blank page.
This force me to reinstall all the project from backup.

I made a test with i18n disabled and I got the very same problem i.e. when I manually create the second alias, I loose the site.

To reproduce the problem:

- install D6.14 with clean URLs
- enable the Path module
- create a first Story content with dedicated url
- create a second Story content with dedicated url
when save teh second content, the site goes offline and cannot be recovered

This seems related to a bug in glibc shipped with OpenSUSE 10.3.
Upgrading to glibc-2.6.1-18_18.3 fix the problem.
