tie minutes to buddylist

Hi! Since my site only has a few users (by design, we probably won't ever have more than 70), I had never really thought about this. I think that what I'll probably do (I need to think some more about this, and it will have to wait for some other things that I need to get done for work to be finished) will be to provide different ways to determine how users are selected. Under settings, you could choose to have user autocomplete, og groups, nothing, or other options.

Does this make sense? Have you any suggestions for this?

Hi! Although I want to do something like this (and will with organic groups), I don't think that the buddylist module is something that I want to tie this to.

buddylist.module allows users to create their own buddylists. However, nodes may be visible (and perhaps editable) to users outside that buddylist, because buddylist.module doesn't tie the list to the nodes in any way. By contrast, organic groups makes each node (hence, each event that the minutes are tied to) a part of a group, where it makes sense to restrict the group of users that have a checkbox available.

However, I will put in an option to not use the predefined userlist, and let users only use the extra attendees choice. This will at least mean that you can turn off the huge list of checkboxes.

At some point I may add an option to type in user names with auto-complete, which would also help with this issue.

I've committed a change that will allow you to stop it putting up the huge list of users. This isn't what you wanted, really, but see my previous comment for why I can't really tie to buddylist.

I will be adding a way to tie to organic groups, though, if that helps.
