Statistic (Node Count) question

foodbo - November 3, 2009 - 14:36

Hi there,

I am not sure, do i need to turn on something or set something up, in order to count a specify node.

I have enabled the statistic module and access log, so it logs / counts all the gallery, blogs but it doesn't count the user profile (advanced profile kit / content profile).

What i want to do is just to create a page view to list the top visited user profiles, since the node_count table in the db doesn't store any user profile count. .... so i am wondering is it a bug or i need to turn something on..

many thanks.

core profiles aren't nodes, and i don't think the core statistics module handles profiles. See the http://drupal.org/project/user_visits and http://drupal.org/project/user_visits_adv modules.

I am not using core profiles, i am using the "Advanced profile kit" module and i think the "APK" uses node.

the user_visits only shows the profile visitors and the user_visits_adv only shows the visitor counters for the logged on user. so no use for me ?? :-(

any more suggestions, anyone??

thanks
