Is it possible to use realname (http://drupal.org/project/realname)in APK panels titles? Now it shows the login name, while everywhere on my site I have Realnames used...

There's a known issue between Realname and CTools. It's in one of their queues. There is nothing APK can do to resolve conflicts between them.

I am also having this issue as I would imagine everyone who uses APK with panels and realname would. How did you address this on your demo site at http://www.shellsn.com/users/michelle. In your list of modules used you have both realname and panels? Any suggestions

I don't use the realname module. "michelle" is my username. As I said, this is a conflict between Realname and CTools. It has nothing to do with APK and there is nothing APK can do to fix the problem.

That makes sense. I found this topic over at CTools that mentions a fix, http://drupal.org/node/704954. I tried implemented with no change and will continue to work on getting this to work somehow.

#443880: REALNAME module stops panel override from working was actually the issue I was thinking of and it looks like it's been fixed and isn't the issue you were having. Doesn't change my answer, though, since there's still nothing APK can do about realname/ctools conflicts.
