Am I right in thinking Boost 5.x will no longer be maintained?

My site keeps having weird css file errors with raw css being displayed in the browser and 'Page not found files/css' appearing in watchdog.

With boost disabled I don't get these errors.

5.x was never really maintained, and I am looking for someone to take over 5.x
#454652: Looking for a co-maintainer - 5.x
Once Boost 7.x comes out and if 5.x doesn't have a maintainer then I will de-list 5.x. So you could say its on life support and I'll be pulling the plug once 7.x comes out. And with that, the issue queue should drop to a couple open bugs and 20-30 open issues. 5.x issues make this module look bad at first glance.

Marking this a dup of the co-maintainer issue.

Is there anywhere I can install Boost for Drupal 5? I am working with a website that uses this and needs to install Boost to allow them to lower their RAM usage b/c their website was suspended by HostGator and they were instructed to download Boost.
