I have installed captcha on:

CivicSpace 0.8.4 alpha 2 based on CiviCRM 1.3 version and Drupal 4.6.6

I have selected Check during user registration in the settings.

when registering a new user I get :

Please type in the letters/numbers that are shown in the image above.

however the captcha image is missing.
the event log shows:

Type access denied
Date Sunday, 7 May, 2006 - 1:03pm
User Anonymous
Location /FERN/captcha/image/1146978186 (If I click this link I can see the captcha fine)
Message captcha/image/1146978186 denied access.

how can I fix this?

any help would be appreciated.

You need to set permissions for anon/etc. to view captchas.

You can set the permissions on the page at:
http://yoursite.com/admin/user/configure/permission

It took me a few minutes to find it, so I thought I'd help out.
