I'm getting the following fatal error with the devel module, but it appears to happen randomly, so I can't provide any extra information yet.
Fatal error: Only variables can be passed by reference in sites/all/modules/devel/devel.module on line 1903

It seems to happen whenever I enable 'fivestar' module. It could be a coincidence, but I tried disabling/enabling the fivestar module 2/3 more times and it happened each time - though doesn't happen when I disable/enable other modules.
