How can I use this module only in the frontpage?

Hi!

I wanted to know if I can use weights ONLY at the front page, but without altering the way the node is being archived.

I mean: I want nodes with lower numbers to be at the top, but when those nodes are being archived, I want them to follow the archive order (by created date or by title).
Anyway, if this cannot be done, let´s add this post as a feature request :-)
