Automatically use node teaser for meta tag description if the meta tag DESCRIPTION form field is left empty

Description

It seems as if the previous (old nodewords) feature for automatically using the teaser as meta tag description if description field is left empty has been dropped.

As it says in the configuration pages: "When this option (Use the node teaser if the description meta tag is not set) is enabled, the form fields used for the meta tag DESCRIPTION will not appear in the meta tags edit form."

Now there are only sort of two black and white options possible: either have the meta tag description always created from the teaser, or add the description always manually. (It is possible to select between these two options per content type, but that does not solve the problem.)

Thus the new module does not provide a usable upgrade path for sites where the old feature has been used and relied on in thousands of nodes.

(Again) performed update from Nodewords 6.x-1.0 to 6.x-1.x-dev (from November 5) in a test environment. However, I cannot see any difference. It still shows the same behavior/features/wording like 6.x-1.3-beta5.

As far as I am concerned it is not fixed and I took the liberty to change the status back to active.

Development snapshot archives are generated on 12 AM, and 12 PM UTC; this means that the new tarball archive has not been created, yet.

Thanks! Sorry, I am living in one of these "early bird" time zones here in New Zealand and inspired by your quick response it was the first thing I tried this morning.

Eventually I have successfully tested the 6.x-1.x-dev (from November 6). Now it is providing the desired functionality. Thanks for that!

On the forms for meta tag settings for the content types it still says: "When this option is enabled, the form fields used for the meta tag DESCRIPTION will not appear in the meta tags edit form." This should be removed/changed.

On the node add/edit forms it should perhaps say again, "When you leave this field empty, the teaser will be used as description", when things are configured that way.

I have removed also that leftover. Thanks for your help, and patience. :-)
