Issue Summary
I have a Content Type: "video".
After Video Module install, my content type gone, and I see "video" Content Type of Video module instead of my "video" Content Type.

Hmm that would mean I will run into a problem also.
On one of my sites I have the content type "video" defined and have a lot of content attached to it. If it overwrites my ealrier defined conent type video I probably will loose all of my content.
Can anyone explain to me what will happen in this case. So I have the content type "video" and will install then the video module which creates the content type "video" and if I understand noniusz remark it overwrites it.
Can you rename a content type without any problems? Guess not.

For the video module, we have video content type, what are the other modules your using?

Dash Media Player use olso the "video" content type: http://www.tmtdigital.com/node/44
When I disable the video module, the main "video" content type is back.
When I uninstall the Video module, the main "video" content is gone.

Not sure about Dash medis player, and how it works. Are you creating video nodes by video module? or Dashmedia player?

When I install Dash media player, I create 'video' Content Type, as the tutorial adviced (http://www.tmtdigital.com/node/44). Than I install 'video module', and overwrite it.
