What I'd like is to be able to add a node, and have it public on xx/xx/xx (Published and promoted to front page), and on XX/YY/zz, only to be removed from front page, BUT Still published

klcthebookworm commentedI'd second a vote for this feature. I need it for my site which is an archive of stories and artwork.

Evan Leeson commented+1 for this feature from me as well.

tng@neuralgourmet.com commentedI'll throw in my two cents for this feature too.
m3avrck commentedIt should already do this.
Create a new node, set it to "promote to front page" and then set a "publish on" field. When the node is published, it will goto the front page. Note, the module has been completely rewritten for 4.7 (new branch) and it will do this.

cokeman commentedYes, it dos that, but what i'm lookig for is that on date X the story is removed from the frontpage. not unpublished... just removed from from the frontpage

StevenSokulski commentedI'm re-activting this as it seems that it has not been solved. What this person is looking for is to have the file be promoted to the front page and taken off the front page on specific dates. That is definitely different that publishing or unpublishing a piece of content.
