QuickTabs not being displayed within certain Panels

Okay here's my scenario

• Panels 6.x-3.0
• Quick Tabs 6.x-2.0-rc3

I've created the following:

• QuickTab containing several views by content type - like a listing of new reports
• QuickTab containing several views by region - same as above
• Mega QuickTab containing the two tabs from above
• Create a panel with the 'Two column' layout - include some content on the left and the Mega quick tab on the right

For some reason the second tab doesn't seem to display properly. If I change the panel layout to 'Two column brick' it works properly (read: my current workaround).

Other things:

I tried to reproduce this with QuickTabs passing the first parameter (%1) to a view and I couldn't reproduce the problem. It works just fine. But in my scenario I'm passing parameter (%2) to the views and this is where the second tab no longer displays. As I mentioned if I change the layout things are fine again - weird.
