The cleanest way to do shipping seems to be with quotes. Now just using USPS to keep simple, there should really be a way to allow a marketplace seller to set weight on a product. I have enabled every possible permission for this user role and still no weight field. Since we are using ubercart and USPS it makes the most since to use the same for ubercart marketplace. Any help is greatly appreciated.

There should be a weight field on the product edit page just like Ubercart... Did you find it?

You may also want to un-check the "Hide extra fields" check box on the Seller settings page. Cheers.
