I am looking to send OUTGOING RSS feeds. Is Drupal capable of this? If so, how do I go about setting it up properly? How do I offer the RSS feeds out after it is set up and how do I contact the major agenies(whom ever they may be) about my new fedd so that they check it.

This is a whole new area for me and I know nothing about any of it so please be very claer and treat me as the dumb blonde I am! :)

when you go to the admin panel click on settings there is an area for RSS feeds. I found that when the taxonamy is enabled it creates the feeds.

This is pretty easy in drupal... In fact you can tie RSS to any list in drupal.

1) Go to the admin control panel, under modules enable taxonomy, and under settings enable RSS.

2) Setup some taxonomies, the blog, or other 'list' you would like. When you go to the page such as www.yoursite.com/blog you will see that drupal generated the rss link for you. There is even a module if you would like podcasting and the rss feed to contain itunes/podcasting.

3) Go to sites like my.yahoo.com, msn.com, etc. and submit your feed url. It's pretty easy.
