Header not appearing

Description
I downloaded and installed the latest version of the Nitobe theme into Drupal 6.14. Everything seems to be working fine except none of the headers are showing up in the masthead section. I've tried every one of them. All of the other theme-specific settings are working fine (logo, favicon, etc.). I don't currently have any blocks in the mastead section, so I'm not sure why its not working. I tried uninstalling and installing Nitobe... nothing works.
