Description

Hey,

I tried installing the latest version of this Google Analytics module. It showed up on the module list and I checked it off and activated it. But, after I do this, I cannot find it anywhere. I tried the path that other people had it at, but it was not found anywhere.

The web site already had some Google Analytics code manually added on pages, could this interfere?

I looked under every category of modules and Google Analytics, Statistics, or any other names people have said on installation videos could not be found.

What are the possible causes of this?

Thanks

6.x-1.4 is a fairly old version of this module. Disable, uninstall and upload the most recent release which is 6.x-2.2

The ga setting can be found under settings. It must be there and cannot interfere with manual code, but will cause duplicate code later. This cannot be the raeson of your issue.

As said 6.x-1.x is no more supportet for a long time, but was nevertheless stable.

Cannot repro -> won't fix

I may have entered the wrong version, but is the 6.14 released on September 9th the latest? That's what is installed.

I found out the problem- you need to set the permissions before anyone has access for this module. Nobody was auto given access to manage the module :/

Only user 1 has access by default
