I consider this a bug and not a feature request since it is contrary to what a user would expect. If somebody disagrees, I'd like to hear why.

When deleting a comment, I would expect to be redirected the node I was viewing, not the home page.

I just checked this with the latest dev and can't confirm. It redirected to the node as expected. Can you try the latest dev and see if it works for you?
