The table or whatever it is that is used to space out galleries isn't quite working right in terms of spacing. The thumbnails are displayed 6 across, which is fine... But as soon as you add a 7th, there's a problem. The default is 6 images per page. A 7th generates a 2nd page, which means a next/previous link. Those links are not spaced down far enough, and are over-written by the submission date.

I tried to fix this by having it show 12 (or whatever) per page, but the problem just is transferred to the thumbnails.. the thumbnails of row 2 now block the submission date of row 1. I think the spacing just needs to be larger -- or else, take the date out or something to make the display smaller. Alternatively, if you only display 4 or so per row, there should be enough space to space out the words. What's happening is the date is super-wrapping into a tiny column and is getting longer than expected, I think.

This is a problem on my site too, in both IE and FireFox. In FireFox, the thumbnails in the gallery show up in a table but overlap the posting information and the navigation links between pages are also lost in overlapping text mess. In IE, the table display is staggered to not overlap but at the cost of not being lined up neatly.

I think that just removing the posting data from the thumbnails would add more space. All I need to display is the title of the picture with the thumbnail.
