Description

Hi,

I'm setting up a site for a conference in July of 2010. I've created an Event content type with a Date field, and have the conference's events all plugged in as nodes, displaying just fine on all the standard calendar pages/views.

What I'd like to do is set up a page with a URL that will display a calendar View for the specific date range of July 2-6, 2010 (similar to a Week view, but just for those 5 days). And for the life of me, I can't figure out how to do it. All the standard calendar views (Day, Week, Month, etc.) work fine. But I can't find any info on how to do custom ranges, since a Week view won't work because the conference goes Fri-Tues.

In the last couple hours, I've searched and read and learned a LOT. But I haven't been able to find an answer.

Unless I can somehow specify a range in the URL (which would be a simple answer if there's a syntax for that that I just don't know),
I'm fairly sure it has to do with the Date Argument settings in Views. I checked out Views Date Range module, but couldn't get that to work either (the range in that module doesn't allow for future years, from what I can tell).

I could do 5 Panel Panes with each day's schedule in one of them, but it seems like what I'm trying to do should be possible in Calendar/Views without having to build a Panel page.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

FYI:
Calendar 6.x-2.2
Date 6.x-2.4
Views 6.x-3.x-dev (2009-Nov-02)
