Seems the cvs version and 4.7 version of the remember filter is not remebering a thing. I'm using the final release of drupal 4.7 and remember_filter.module,v 1.2 2006/02/24 06:06:47 smsimms.

Have you created the remember_filter table in your database?

Well, after doing some other site work, and then coming back to this issue, I have found that it does work! Sorry that I jumped the gun... sometimes you just have to let things simmer a bit before actually reporting the problem. What I'm learning with drupal is that you have to keep your fingers crossed when adding modules... some do work. And this one does! Thanks for your efforts. This module will definitely enhance the user interface.

you have to download the cvs version.
4.7 is currently broken.

I've just updated the CVS tag for the fixed module file, which I think is all I need to do in order to have it do a new 4.7 release. I'll try and remember to check back in a couple of days, but if it hasn't happened, let me know, and I'll try something else.
