User list

Hi!

I googled for the answer, but i didn't find it. Here´s what I wanna do: I will create a website for my school where the students can sign up and have their own profile pages. BUT, they are supposed to be able to create new content nodes (I was thinking of using CCK and create a content type named Teams) where they will describe about their soccer team (name, etc) and where will be listed the members of the team and a link for their profiles pages. Since it may be created many Teams Pages, I wanna the users to be able to select themselves (when they registry, for example) which team he is part of OR he can create his own team so other users can select it and be part of it. I just want the list of users to appear when you see the team information! Nothing more! I don't need foruns, nothing! Just their names as a list, so I dont guess OG module is the solution. Is there a solution out of the box, by the way?
