Imagecache Profiles w/ Genesis Darkmatter Theme is broken, any help??

glarsch - November 8, 2009 - 02:24

I have read the thread at http://drupal.org/node/353057 and realize that this is causing the Imagecache Profiles not to function correctly. I have Genesis Darkmatter installed and would like to know if there is a workaround I can apply to get Imagecache Profiles to work. I know the function phptemplate_user_picture is causing the issue and was wondering if that can be taken out. I know it is fixed in the 6.x-2.x but I can't upgrade due to the Darkmatter subtheme, if what I have read is correct. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I am thrilled w/ the theme itself.

Thanks in advance.

You can delete the function, its safe to do this. At first you may get an error, in which case go to the Performance settings page and clear cache data. After that everything will work as per normal.

If you are prepared to do some theme work it is possible to upgrade because in Genesis 2 there is a dark subtheme, which is almost identical to Dark Matter, except the background image needs to be added and you will have to change the default link color from purple to blue, also the primary links stuff and bit of other stuff would need to be brought over but most of that could be copy/pasted from the Dark matter stylesheets.
