The theme is great and I am using it for an eshop. It works fine on any other browser except IE!!!!

I have enabled the local.css as it is described in theme's documentation :
1. enabled the use of local.css on _acquia_slate.info
2. renamed the local_sample.css to local.css

I haven't included any new css rules!!!!

And it worked as a charm!!!!
