Issue Summary
I am stuck on a live site at 6.11 for most of the emfield modules. Update just will not catch it. The 'core' emfield module is now at 6.15 but the others refuse to update or be recognized (tried via update.php and drush). Slightly different to scenarios at #601944: EM Video 1.4 -> 1.11 update stuck. and in that update.php does not freeze - it just doesn't see all the updates.
Current configuration is at:
Embedded Audio Field 6.x-1.11
Embedded Image Field 6.x-1.11
Embedded Media Field 6.x-1.15
Embedded Media Thumbnail 6.x-1.11
Embedded Video Field 6.x-1.11
Embedded Wave Field 6.x-1.15
Bizarrely the mirror DEV environment has updated fine. But I've been stuck with status reminders to update modules since emfield was at 6.12.
Any clues on how to re-run any update scripts (tried manually selecting versions in update.php).... or is there anything in MySQL? Tried disabling/enabling module. Not keen to uninstall as the configuration concerned is a live site.
Not sure if related to #625822: _emfield_update_fix_data() can loop infinitely?

as silly as it sounds, inspect all folders in your installation to ensure there isn't more than one emfield.module folder floating around. Based on d.o forum posts over the past year it seems this is a common issue where a rouge folder was uploaded or dropped in an incorrect folder and forgotten about.

Alas not - but thanks for the suggestion - great idea

i just fixed #601944: EM Video 1.4 -> 1.11 update stuck.; can you try again and let me know if that solves it? otherwise we'll need to troubleshoot more.

Just updated to DEV (9 Nov) - update ran perfectly. Thanks Aaron.
Marked issue as fixed - seems to be closely related to #601944: EM Video 1.4 -> 1.11 update stuck. and #625822: _emfield_update_fix_data() can loop infinitely which are now fixed too :)
