Hi,

The first "problem" i find is that there is no way to administer the free links. So, if I create a page and put in a freelink to a page that isn't defined, then it puts it under the free links page. However, if I go in and edit that page and remove the freelink, then that free link still exists. Which wouldn't be as big a deal except that it conflicts with the glossary module which I am using.

The strange thing is that once I have removed the freelink it also doesn't seem to re-parse the content looking for glossary words or freelinks.

The major error i found was that when i created a page with a free link that was also the name of a glossary term (done via taxonomy) and then removed the free link. It completed screwed up the whole site. The error I got was "cannot connect to the database" which at first I thought was because of my server, but I checked that and it wasn't. I was able to connect to the database with phpMyAdmin, which I used to go into the freelinks table and delete the offending link. As soon as I deleted the link from the table, my site came back.

Just to follow up on this issue, I have also noticed 'freelinking' and 'glossary' don't play nice (for lack of a better term)
Example output from show source in the browser :

Visit our <a href="http://hisportal.heartlandis.com/blog<a href="/glossary#term37" title="blog: The blog module allows registered users to maintain an online weblog (commonly known as a blog), often referred to as an online journal or diary." class="glossary-indicator">i</a>/ip_eng">blog</a>

Obvious it's the dual href statements that's making the text on the page look something like this :

Visit our i/ip_eng">blog

Administration is now possible in 6.x-1.5. I can't think of how a freelink could bring the whole site down.

Any bad interaction with the glossary module is a separate issue, and should be treated as such.
