Issue Summary
In one part of the site I see 'Translation -- source' and in another it's the other way round.
This is confusing -- probably more so for British English as it's not immediately obvious which language is which ;) -- but nonetheless I'm sure a consistent presentation order would make this smoother for translators in any language.

Agreed to some degree that this would be a good idea. It is true however that the moderation screen lets you review suggestions quickly which are then naturally listed on the left. The translation screen however lets you translate stuff, and that you'd do by reading left to right, so English is on the right. Would be good to get more user feedback on this one.

The 6.x-2.x branch integrates the Browse/Translate/Moderate screens into one, so this is already resolved there. It is going to be deployed on localize.drupal.org pretty soon now (1-2 weeks), so work on the 1.x branch is not continued.
