The current logic to enter the view/edit mode of an individual image is different when a lightbox is enabled or not:
a) when no lightbox is enabled, the view/edit mode of an image is triggered by clicking the image in the gallery_container. This is OK
b) when a lightbox is enabled,
- the lightbox is triggered by clicking the image in the gallery_containger. This is OK.
- the view/edit mode of an image is entered by
1. clicking the titles on with the Show/Hide Title link (assumes that the toggle is enabled)
2. clicking an image title
This is difficult for a user who has no guidance wat to do exactly.
Proposal:
Can a "Classic View / Slideshow view" be provided above the pager (within the gallery_container)
which appears when (and only when) a lightbox installed.
=> in Slideshow view: click the image to trigger the lightbox
=> in Classic view: click the image to trigger the view/edit of the image
An addditional advantage is that in case of a lightbox display problem (As an example, today IE8 does not render Lytebox well) , the visitor can always fall back to the classic view. With browsers, you never know what problems to encounter...
