Last week i needed mimemail and found some bugs there. I wanted to post it to the issue list of the project, and found all my issues already there.

So i did a quick workaround and also applied some of the patches found in the issue list. So i have it working... but what now? For this small project i didn't used svn.

How to avoid overriding by installing the new version in a couple of months? Shall i rename the module?

How are you guys and gals doing this without svn?
