Issues with File Manager module
I'm using Drupal 6.12 with the following modules:
-CCK
-Chaos Tool Suite
-Date/Time
-Feed Parser
-Flags
-image
-imageCache
-Messaging
-Notifications
-Organic groups & Panels
-FCkEditor
-Menu Block
-WebFM
I have created a basic folder structure under WebFM for users to add their files the file structure goes like this.
Department
-Documents
-images
-pdf
I want all the users to have access to this folder in order for them to deposit all the objects necessary for there departments content. In case anyone has not guessed yet this is for Town intranet. As root i can see the folder structure but no one else can see the folders. I'm sure this is an easy question related to perms but I cant seem to figure it out. Help!!!!

Try this 1. Go to
Try this
1. Go to admin/settings/webfm
2. under "Default File Permissions" check the boxes "Role View Access" and "Public Access". Once you click save, you will be able to set the root directory for every roll.
3. Set the appropriate permissions for the following at admin/user/permissions
access webfm, view webfm attachments, webfm upload
This is how my webfm is set up and it works flawlessly!
