Menu .css child items trigger menu activation

Issue Summary

I'm using acquia theme and the 6.x-1.3 nice menus. ( have also tried the dev snapshot and it has the same issue) I seem to have a problem with the space were the sub menu will appear. If I roll over the space were an expanded sub menu item will appear it will open the menu. It is happening in both IE and Firefox. I am using the standard .css that comes with the install. It only happens where the 2nd level menu will appear and is not triggered but the third level space.

I'm not sure whats causeing this.

I've made my test site avalible so you can see for yourelf. Just mouse near the expandable portion of the menu to the right and it'll open.
