Description
Notes are good for accumulating documentation on a project then I have to copy the documentation to a Web page. Life would be easier if I could make a note page a regular Web page or maintain a regular page as a note. I could then have an operations manual for an application and connect a ticket to the page describing the operation of whatever is broken. Each step in diagnosing the problem and fixing it could be entered direct into the documentation page as notes visible to the people using the application.

That was quick. When I recorded this request, I noticed 6.26 was available and it has the change in it. ESP?

I'm really glad you've found what you wanted so quickly, but don't really understand what that was! Sounds like you've got what you want, but it would be really helpful for my benefit (and possibly others) if you could put a brief bit of explanation about it up...!

I was using 6.x-1.24 to record work on an application. I added information in notes as I updated tickets progressing through the system. When a ticket is closed, I take the notes and copy them into a user documentation page so they know how to use the application. I updated to 6.x-1.26. The notes page lets me set the menu entry for the page and the URL. I can make the notes page a part of the documentation without having to cut and paste the content. The next test will be to change a notes page into a book page that is the child of the right parent.
Using notes like that, I can build an online user manual based on what I learn while answering questions from the customer.

Ah ok. A side effect of some of the stuff on node preview etc., which means that the node settings are no longer hidden by css.
Thanks for the update!
