Skilled Drupal Developer needed on as-needed basis
InsiderSites, Inc. is currently looking for someone who is skilled in and knowledgable about Drupal, PHP and MySQL to help us out with some on-site optimization and occasional fixes and changes to the site (as-needed, but right now we have a few pressing needs related to the site's structure).
Although we are open to working with anyone, we prefer someone local to Los Angeles or San Francisco.
Our current issues involve questions surrounding taxonomy vs. menu systems on sites with 15,000 - 50,000 articles. Additionally, there is an issue at the moment where top-level categories and select articles and categories beneath them are delivering 404 errors when working from the homepage down. However, working from the article back up, the category URLs are found as taxonomy/term/1234 - though the URLs were created to be much more meaningful - for example www.articleinsider.com/mortgage now displays as http://www.articleinsider.com/taxonomy/term/1532. We don't know why this issue has suddenly crept up on us as until October 25, everything was working and displaying properly, but we need to get it resolved. The issue is not site-wide.
If you are interested, please forward a description of your experience (or resume) along with professional references, your bid for the taxonomy issue above, timeline and the best way to get in touch with you.
Thank you!
